Pronoun

Pronoun (सर्वनाम): A word which is used in place of a Noun.


Noun के बदले प्रयुक्त होने वाले शब्द को Pronoun कहते हैं।


A Noun के repetition से बचने के लिए ही Pronoun का प्रयोग किया जाता है। किसी भी वाक्य में एक ही Noun का प्रयोग बार-बार करने से वाक्य की सुन्दरता खत्म हो जाती है। यही मुख्य कारण है, कि Noun के बदले Pronoun का प्रयोग किया जाता है।


जैसे:
Mr. Vikrant Sir, being a good teacher, He is liked by all the students.

Shruti lives in Mumbai, She works in State Bank of India.

Cow is a domestic animal.
It has four legs.



TYPES OF PRONOUN

1. PERSONAL PRONOUNS (पुरुषवाचक सर्वनाम ): I, me, we, us, you, he, him, she, her, it, they, them.

Examples
यहां सभी पुरुषवाचक सर्वनाम (Personal Pronouns) के उदाहरण दिए गए हैं:

1. I am going to the market.
(मैं बाजार जा रहा हूँ।)

2. She gave me a gift.
(उसने मुझे एक उपहार दिया।)

3. We are planning a trip to Delhi.
(हम दिल्ली यात्रा की योजना बना रहे हैं।)

4. Please join us for dinner.
(कृपया हमसे रात के खाने के लिए जुड़ें।)

5. You are my best friend.
(तुम मेरे सबसे अच्छे दोस्त हो।)

6. He is reading a book.
(वह एक किताब पढ़ रहा है।)

7. I saw him at the park yesterday.
(मैंने उसे कल पार्क में देखा था।)

8. She is singing a beautiful song.
(वह एक सुंदर गीत गा रही है।)

9. I met her at the library yesterday.
(मैंने उसे कल पुस्तकालय में मिला था।)

10. It is raining outside.
(बाहर बारिश हो रही है।)

11. They are going on vacation next week.
(वे अगले सप्ताह छुट्टियों पर जा रहे हैं।)

12. I gave them my notes.
(मैंने उन्हें अपने नोट्स दिए।)
